What career opertunites are there for doing zoology?

I wanted to do zoology at university, but all the jobs seem to aim you at doing lab work and other indoor jobs. I wanted to do something more that involved working outside more and interacting with animals. Has anyone here studied zoology and what did you do with it? I'd love to do something like presenting a wildlife program, i know it sounds far fetched, but how would you get into doing something like that? And finally does anyone recomend a good university for studing zoology in scotland? thanks =)
