Good printer or making decals?

I want to make my own decals, so I did a bit of research on which printers work the best. It seems that laser printers are the way to go, so I'm uming any one of these will be ok ? http://www.shopping.hp.com/can/printers/laserjets/1/storefronts Does anyone have a better suggestion or is HP decent? Also, once I print the decals out, how do I cut them so that only the letters peel off, not the whole page?
