Does he still love me or is it all a lie?

okay me and this guy named dylan were datin for 2 months and 5 days.well yesterday he told me that there was some thing wrong so i asked him.he said if he told me could we still be friends.so yes you guessed it right we did break up.but we loved each other he just said that he started to like this other girl named paige.so he felt bad about that so he had to break it off to see if it is really me who he wants to be with.so today was the first day that i was single and seeing him was heartbreaking but i started to get better and i started to feel like every thing was going to be okay.but i wrote him a note saying i still wanted to be friends and that no matter what i still love him.and so at the end of the day me and a friend went to catch the bus and he ran up and was like i have to tell you some thing.so we were just standing there for alittle bit and then he was like i just wanted to tell you that i still love you and i always will.then he was like well i have to go so bye and he lef
