Has anyone in the USA government considered being nice to Iran?

I'm sure they have, but its like trying to be nice to an angry bee. Most of the Islam countries do NOT like the US because we have freedom and we are Infidels. Not all think that way, but that is what most are taught and its hard to leave your beliefs behind. Besides, who helps us when WE need help? No one really. Everyone offers their sympathies, but that's it. I would love for us to pull out of many places and work on us. Everyone is so busy trying to help out other countries that we don't help ourselves. I am all for helping others, but we need help too.
