Why do people always ume homeless people need more stuff?

They can always get clothes and blinkets maybe food, but all those toys and junk people keep pawning on the homeless never do them any good. It can't keep them warm. It ends up like clutter. I know if I had to carry all my earthly posessions with me where ever I went more stuff is the last thing I would want. If you give a gift let it be a place where you could take a bath wash, your socks, wipe your somewhere that would help place you in a job and a little income. People ume all homeless people are drunks and mental cases. Have you ever thought everyone is one bad step from being homeless and on the street it's more common than you think. What do would be practical to give to a homeles person?
